Hi Friend,
We are wrapping up Self-Love Month with the article I promised you and a 27 minute podcast.
"5 Reasons Why It Feels So Darn Hard To Love Yourself Sometimes"
Susan Ball and I discuss Getting Your Psychological Needs Met so you feel lovable (instead of needy) to create healthy relationships and friendships HERE, on her podcast. (27 minute audio)
Now For Tears! I keep talking with women who say they are "holding back tears."
STOP. HOLDING. BACK. TEARS!
The purpose of tears is to have a release of emotion. If you hold them in you will blow up!
Ahh, you think I'm kidding don't you? NOPE. I'm serious. (And that doesn't happen often so enjoy it while you can! LOL)
Stuffing your emotions causes weight gain and also physical illness - including MAJOR illness and death.
In fact, in my research, training, and experience, emotions cause ALL physical ailments.
I believe this because my clients and I heal when we release the negative emotions we've been holding onto... The ones passed down unintentionally by generations of ancestors. (Releasing those is my specialty.)
AND when we learn to understand why everything happens. (YES, that is absolutely 100% possible, and more empowering than anything else you will EVER do!)
It's like magic!
So, when you feel like crying, PLEASE cry.
Let it out. It's freeing, healthy, necessary, and you deserve to clear out the pain or frustration, sadness, or whatever... let... it. .. out.
Crying isn't weakness. But holding it in is fear... and being proud that you held it in is arrogance AND fear. And... it's dishonoring your body...
You deserve better. Do you agree? Then have a good cry! :)
You ROCK!
