Sometimes (or many times), life can seem overwhelming for many reasons.
You need to have a safe place.
A place you go to think your thoughts, cry your tears, feel your heart beating in your chest.
You need to feel it mending itself when you've had a loss.
You need to feel it puffing up when you've found someone or something new or old to love.
You need to feel.
You may feel life's pressure building and know you need a break.
Or you may not know until you stop feeling like yourself and can't process the reason why.
You may not realize a break is in order.
I'm going to suggest that you always need a break... for this sacred time with yourself, your spirit, your God, the universe, whoever you know always has your back.
Diligently working with a new project while happier than most people will ever be coaching and doing energy work with my awesome clients didn't seem like pressure.
But all of a sudden, a voice inside said. Sunset. Beach. Walk.
My mind and heart could not wait until the scheduled walk with a friend tomorrow.
I HAD to go tonight.
It's different walking the beach at sunset solo.
It's anything but lonely. It's anything but cold, even if the water is chilly on my feet.
What it is to me is a vital reminder of why I moved my life to San Diego in the first place...
The ocean reconnects me to my spirit when I get lost temporarily in day to day business or personal relationship challenges or heartbreaks.
The ocean is always there for me, and regardless of what else is going on in my life, it's peace. It's strength. It's life. It's love. And. It. Is. Powerful!
As I was walking, my inner voice clearly said what I needed to hear to take me out of people thoughts and get me back to my spiritual center.
What is YOUR place that brings you back to you? That straightens out even your tightest brain tangles?
If you don't have one yet, find one. It's important.
Breathe in who you are, what you believe, and how beautiful you are as a woman in this world today.
While things outside of you might seem stressful, scary, or tragic, know that I believe in YOU.
Breathe into your power.
You make a difference.
You matter.
You ROCK!
