I know, it's their life, but it's still easy to fall into this trap that drags us down. 😕
Just this morning, I had to catch myself and exit a conversation with a very negative, bitter family member who loves to keep her problems and literally gets angry if anyone offers to help her solve them! It's my mom.
I LOVE solving problems! I do it daily for myself and love to help others do the same. 😊
My mom's were easy to solve but she would have none of it, and told me that I just call to upset her.
Friend, if you want to keep your peace when other people are doing whatever they are in their lives that inspire you to feel distracted, frustrated, envious, etc., I've found that healthy personal boundaries are the key. 💪
Boundaries are usually looked at as a way to keep other people at a safe distance so you can live as you choose.
But that virtual fence also keeps YOU out of their business so you can focus on good things that make you an even better person who can positively impact other people. 🤗
Here's an article I wrote about how women give their power away by their lack of personal boundaries. |
