You know when you are working on a project, whether work or personal, and it seems like it will NEVER be completed? OMG
You focus on it until your brain wiggles. And you just can’t get away from it because it monopolizes your mind, and thoughts, and curiosity.
I don’t know about you, but what I think about most when this happens is,
“What’s taking so long?”
Or, “I’ve done this kind of thing before. How can it be so much harder this time?”
Or worse, “What the heck is wrong with me that I can’t seem to get this done?” Ugh!
It’s annoying, frustrating, maddening…
and then…
Clarity pops through the cloudiness like the brightest star you’ve ever seen.
And it all makes sense. Including every delay. Every bit of confusion. Every tear.
You see that all the work you did, and feelings you felt, and days you struggled with confidence were for a much bigger purpose than originally thought.
Because…
Just like the butterfly emerging from its cocoon, if anyone takes over to help it out, it’s not strong enough to survive.
And like you, when it struggles and repositions itself, moving around in the uncomfortable tightness it has outgrown, it builds what it needs to become what it’s meant to be.
Like you and me...
Becoming the women we are meant to be, strong, resilient, and happy to fly freely and brighten up the world.
We are all a work in progress.
Connected to each other by a feminine thread that is…
tougher than a steel bar,
more pliable than the softest clay,
and more important than any differences between us.
Please be grateful for every lesson in every experience. Look for it because there is one… ALWAYS.
If you don’t see it, you’re either not looking deep enough, looking too deep, looking in the opposite direction, or not ready for it yet, and must wait until it’s clear.
Clarity ROCKS!
This Thanksgiving (U.S.), I’m grateful for my many blessings and one of them is…
YOU.
