Subject: What do you see?

Has this ever happened to you?

A couple of years ago, when I visited my family in Turkey, I was bombarded with THE question.

If you have been married for some time, you get THE question.

When are you going to have a baby?

I did not know. I did not want to plan. It was not a question in my life.

But when I returned from that visit, I started seeing babies everywhere, and pregnant ladies, and fathers with prams...

I don't know if that was a specially active year for the couples..probably not...

I attribute it to my biased perception...

My perception was influenced by my long exposure to the question.

That was interesting...at some point, got even a little annoying.

But it can actually be quite positive too...The bias, I mean.

You can influence your perception by holding your intention alive in your mind so that you can see more opportunities related to what you want to happen.

What can you do to hold your intention alive? Envision it and embody it. And be naturally you, rather than thinking what you should do next.

Ruby's intention is to change her career to do creative work. But she cannot move because of the influence of her negative self-talk.

Who is Ruby, what she can do, and how this is related to all the things I previously said...You can listen to this week's podcast.

This episode is a little longer than usual. Because it is important. Because I have a lot to say about it. And because is all about going for your dreams when what you dream of is a creative career.

We explore the topic in 3 parts: 1. prioritizing your creative work regardless of money 2. ways to be with or deal with the voices 3. dealing with the uncertainty.

I hope you find it useful.

Let me know what you think.

Love,

Işıl
