Other source can be from beef liver, cheese, egg yolks, fish oil and mushroom. If you plan to take Vitamin supplement, recommended daily of 2000 to 5000 IU.
2.Vitamin C :
This vitamin help prevent respiratory infections as well as help treat and heal infections. Vitamin C is essential to our immunity. Take daily vitamin c because body does not store them. Best is to get time-release vitamin C. Recommended daily dosage of 2 to 5g.
3. Zinc :
Zinc is body number 1 immunity mineral. Zinc dependent enzyme is crucial for our DNA repair. This mineral is critical to white blood cell ability to attack invading bacteria and virus and eliminate them. Study have shown that Vitamin D has been linked to improved zinc absorption. Without adequate levels of Zinc, our immune system can be erratic, resulting in massive inflammation.
As we age, our immunity declines and that is in direct relation to declining levels of Zinc.
