WHY NFTS?

I started this project when a good friend had contacted me and said, what do you know about NFT’s?

I had already had NFTs on my radar, and I saw Jeff Koons leaving Gagosian for Pace Gallery, specifically stating his interest in NFTS, which I thought was a pretty big deal. I also saw Damien Hirst pop up with his own version of a “new-crypto.”

Finding a way to tap into the cryptocurrency market has been something I have been interested in for some time now. People purchasing my paintings in bitcoin or Ethereum sounds like a great way to expand your audience to me.

When I started researching and studying NFTs, I admit I was confused as hell in the beginning trying to figure out what is this thing!  But, the more I investigated, the more I thought that this was a remarkable opportunity to take my art practice to a serious new level.

As a new medium it has everything I need to complete a body of work that includes my philosophy, theories on mathematics and Synectic’s—this thing that I have been working on since I was in my twenties. This NFT Series I have created is like "the notebooks of Edward Lentsch" organized in a disk. It's better than a book or movie—it’s a way to present a visual portal as a “TOE” (This Theory of Everything that scientists have only been working for three decades). 

The implications for giving back and the philanthropic component combined with the crowdsourcing potential will serve to fund incredible new projects. Making art is like building a rocket to go to the moon. It takes financial resources and a community that believes in the mission and the consequence of bold ideas.  

As this new "NFT" market is exploding with everything from Melania's "Waterfall" to Tom Brady's "Live Forever," it has to give one pause. But for me there one key distinction, I am building the most sophisticated NFT of the 21st Century.
