One Artist’s Journey into Micro-Philanthrocapitalism
Edward Lentsch, mid-career painter and Founder of Artist League Studios will present The Artist’s Giving Pledge; an exciting new initiative that is turning beneficiaries into the benefactors and redefining the role of the artist in the greater global community as a driving force of Philanthrocapitalism.
“As founder of Artist League my mission has been about sending a message of self-empowerment – the idea that autonomy and freedom are closer than you might think. Our mission with Artist League is about expanding the reach of artists as a force of dynamic change – it’s about developing ideas to reinvent the paradigm and change the harmful stereotypes of dependence and helplessness associated with “the starving artist…” It’s a voice that says, “We are powerful in our ability to make a difference and there are unlimited possibilities to make a contribution!” Lentsch further proclaims. “When artist realize their true assets and start on this new path to be the co-creators of aesthetic habitats for humanity—we will expand our vision to embrace the unlimited possibilities for artists to make more tangible and significant contributions everywhere.”
Event followed by Q&A and signing of my new two book set Gratitude 240 page 12 x 12 inch coffee table book and the I Believe in Miracles Daily Inspirational Journal.
