Subject: Mind Maps Navigating Autism by Thaddeus Jameson

Searching for Gallery Representation
for a most prolific and amazing talent!
As Tj's mentor and friend I am thrilled to present Mind Maps /Navigating Autism a new series by Thaddeus Jameson

Do you know where the name Saab comes from? I don’t remember either but TJ does! Would you even venture to guess what squad car the Chicago police used in 1958, or what kind of ambulance was used by Bellevue Hospital in 1973? TJ could tell you or better yet draw any car from any police department (or ambulance for that matter) in almost any city in the US –with the approximate year!

Thaddeus Jameson age 29 or “TJ” as he prefers, lives with autism. Diagnosed at an early age at a time when there was little knowledge of this mysterious neurobiological disorder. Self-taught to read at age 3 and blessed with an eidetic (photographic) memory, TJ has used his drawing and painting to take charge of his life and his destiny.
Thad is a graduate of Dowling College, in New York and was nominated for the Fulbright Scholarship. He is currently the “Artist in Residence” at Artist League Studios (a think-tank studio for emerging artists) founded by native Minnesota painter Edward Lentsch.
TJ discovered his talent at an early age working with pen, paints, to tell stories and create a complex transformative discovery into emotional art work that transcends any age or audience.
Through many years of study he has amassed significant knowledge that he takes to the canvas including sociology, arts, film, automobiles, and architecture that reaches depths beyond detailed description of cities like Minneapolis, St Paul and every borough of New York. His knowledge and love of classic automobiles is also a recurring theme through his work.
• Although he has to face many of the very same emotional issues that most artists struggle with, through his practice of art he continues to grow and make a significant impact on his community.
National Autism Awareness Day April 2, 2015
TJ is looking for a dealer to exhibit his work. Please contact Edward Lentsch at Artist League Studios for more information on this remarkable young artist.
