Subject: Being late...don't do it!

Top of the morning to ya!

Yesterday our discussion was about responsibility

And the 9 habits to become a more responsible person.

As you will remember, the 1st was “Be accountable For yourself.”

This is as excellent idea and example of how to avoid disappointment and even resentment from those who are around you in your life.

Today’s discussion will consider the 2nd habit…

“Be Punctual”

Doesn't it make you see red when folks are late?

From an early age, we set our alarm clocks to get up in time to get to school

And don’t forget, if you were into sports, and you showed up late,

What did the coach make you do?

RUN LAPS!   Ugh…

So you should admit that being punctual is a big part of being responsible.

In fact, we have to learn to be punctual to be successful in many areas of our lives that include (but not limited to):

  • Our job

  • Our friendships both personal and romantic

  • Our children (just think what would happen if you’re 35 minutes late to pick up your child after football practice)

  • And many others.

So what are some of the actual pitfalls to those who are late?

[-] It can have a bad effect to your wellbeing-

[-] It can make your blood pressure high

[-] It Lowers your self-esteem because you feel bad about being late

[-] So you’re going to rushing and could have an accident

[-] You could fall down the stairs trying to get out of your house quickly

[-] Or even end up with a speeding ticket.

So it really pays to be on time, in many ways.
