Subject: Your Guitar Called... It Misses You

Hey Friend,

So begins another weekend... the close to one week and the beginning of another.

Whatcha got going on?

My wife has a little "honey do" list for me - I'll be hanging ceiling fans... Yeah!

And don't forget, my sweets, tomorrow is Valentine's Day. Be sure to at least remember to whisper "I Love You" to your sexy main squeeze...

That's right, your guitar! Who did you think I meant?

You do love your guitar, right? You find yourself day-dreaming about getting your hands on its smooth, curvaceous neck and body, allowing its siren song to strum your heart strings. It's lonely sitting over there, all by its lonesome...

"Can't we stop, hurting each other..." "Hurting Each Other" by The Carpenters

Show yo' baby some lovin'!

That's the surest way to make sure you're getting a little better every day. Pick up your guitar and play. Even if it's only for five minutes (If you missed my daily email series The Daily 5 Guitar Habit, you can sign up for it here).

When you start getting into the habit of making time for your guitar, you'll begin to notice little improvements within a short time. The Beatles made a habit of working their craft every day, and they set themselves up to succeed in a huge way. Nearly three years working a gig, eight hours every day, got them so polished that when they hit, they took the world over.

What do you want?

Give yourself at least five minutes to practice playing some chords or scales. Play through one of your favorite songs. Grab Easy Power Chords and learn how to play them.

Five minutes might not seem like much, but it's establishing the habit that's important to build that long-term success.

And with power chords, you can easily get the basic shape down in five minutes. Five minutes a day to learn a skill that will pay you back for the rest of your life...

Seems like a no-brainer to me. Pick up Easy Power Chords today!

Peace~

Dave

P.S. Gonna go show some lovin' to my guitar, right now!
