Hey Friend,
Okay, it was a late night. I was glued to the election progress last night, and frankly I'm having a hard time concentrating on anything else at the moment!
I'm a mess. I have felt for a long time that our government has focused on serving themselves rather than the people they govern. I felt hopeless against the government intrusion into our personal lives, business and medicine. How the government has allowed (even helped) companies steamroll the American people. And I was scared it was going to happen again.
I know I have witnessed a revolution. I think this song is apropos: " Revolution" by the Beatles. We the people have stood up and said, "We're tired of the crap you've been putting us through." The near-impossible has happened and for the first time in nearly a decade, I have hope that things can get better in this country.
I've worked in small businesses, experienced lay-offs and stagnant salaries. I was out of work for a year and a half. A simple conversation about our insurance deductible going up - again - has me sick to my stomach.
But the status quo has been broken. A message has been sent loud and clear: We're done with the establishment. I'm excited to see where we go next.
Next up in our little band of chords is F# minor. I'll get some exercise files put together and a nice rundown of the chord. Y'all have a great day - I'm gonna go to work and take a nap! JK
Peace~
