Friend, I wanted to get an email out to you with a quick update since there was no email on Tuesday. It has been a bit of a rough week. Without getting into too many details, one of my daughter's young friends committed suicide on Monday. As you can imagine, we're dealing with a lot of pain right now.This boy was only 13 years old, a good student, an athlete, popular and liked by everyone. My heart is broken for his family and friends, but mostly for him. He will never again know the touch of a loved one - and we have lost him forever. Please know that if you ever feel so alone or hurting that you're considering doing something so drastic, DON'T! You rock and the world needs you! There is no one else in the entire world that can give what you give. No matter how bad things get, it will get better. I'm here for you and I'm your friend - if you need to talk to someone, all you have to do is ask. I will help in whatever way I can. I mean it. Here is a list of resources if you or anyone you know needs it.
