Whoo, it’s shaping up to be a hot one today in Central Florida! 77° already and promising to be in the 90s by mid-afternoon.

It would be a great day to stay in-doors and work on getting better at guitar, but that is not to be for ol' Davey. With a deadline looming to have as much done on the house before my sister arrives, I gotta keep crackin’…

That said, I’m going to let the music theory stuff sit and marinate in your minds...

Go back over the last few days and read the messages again. 

Does anything new pop out at you? 

Any insights that revealed themselves after brewing for awhile?

This stuff can be a bit confusing until your brain latches on to a few of the basic building block patterns, but after you’ve internalized them, it gets easier.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat. 

This is how we improve. Unless you’ve got something like a photographic memory and the ability to understand things immediately, it might take a few passes through the information for it to fall into place.

It seems like every time I review theoretical concepts, I learn a little more and hidden secrets unfold themselves.
