Hey Friend,
The wife is cracking the whip already! Just finished getting a ceiling fan working in the new bathroom. To her credit, she and my daughter got the thing put in the ceiling and wired, but the fan kept scraping on something and freezing up.
I fought with it for about 45 minutes, and in the end, I really don't know what I did to get it to spin freely but I'm not the kind of guy to "look a gift horse in the mouth!" It's working now, and that's all that matters.
We're on a push to get the bathroom usable this weekend, so I'm going to get back to it.
I did find an interesting article you should check out centering around chord substitutions. Substitutions are chords you can use instead of the naturally occurring chords within a key.
They still sound great and give some variation to the way th chords sound together. The examples are in the key of C, incorporating A minor as well.
Just trying out many of these chords myself has me already thinking about ways to use them for my own stuff. I can always count on Guitar Player Magazine to provide good lessons.
Rock it out!
Peace~
