Anyway, I got an email from a buddy back in Ohio I had the pleasure of working with for a while. He is also a subscriber here.
He shared a frustration he has with learning guitar, and that’s overwhelm.
What he had to say underscored some of the things I’ve been thinking about for a while. Namely that I’m… possibly... a source for some of that overwhelm…
What?!? Me??? I thought you loved me, LOL!
I’m not saying for sure, but a daily email with all the exercises over the last year + might have you nodding your head a little.
Wait, what?
I said, a little...
Everyone likes free lessons, but maybe I need to quit being so selfish with your time.
I mean, yes, you probably have some other, relatively insignificant things to do, like go to work, eat and sleep. What, you don’t spend your whole day rocking out on your guitar?
Yeah, me neither.
We all have the daily stuff to do, and we never seem to have the time we’d like for things we want to do.
So I’m taking this as a little wake-up call for myself and doing some thinkin’ on things.
