Hey Friend,
Whew, what a morning! We're getting our new well pump put in today, and I had some prep work to do before the contractor gets here.
Of course, he gave me plenty of time this morning - I think standard arrival time is 9:30 to 10 AM.
I had to take down a chain-link fence in two areas and clear out some small trees and bushes so he can get his truck back into the woods where the well is. Since he's going to have a truck to do all the heavy lifting, I think I qualify to say I did all the hard work this morning! I definitely worked up enough sweat to call it a day...
Kind of like learning the ins-and-outs of guitar chords and the theory behind them.
It's hard work - but good work.
And learning this stuff also translates to other instruments like bass and piano. The more you understand the underlying theory of music, the stronger your intuition grows. You'll become better at creating melodies that tell stories on their own - no lyrics necessary. You'll know instantly which chords work best to support that story.
Music will become natural for you.
That's one of the reasons I'm feeding it to you in little bites, and then repeating the ideas and concepts. Every time you hear it and apply it, it will make a little more sense. Your chord changes will become more automatic - like brushing your teeth.
You don't think about how to brush - you just brush. That's what I'm trying to do here with guitar for you.
Yes, power chords are a simpler form of major and minor chords. Yes, they're easier to play. And yes, you don't get all the color of a full chord.
But you do have the tools to play songs almost immediately. At the end of the day, the song is what matters.
Easy Power Chords maps out power chords for every key and gives you both simple and advanced chord shapes. Use what you need now, and save the rest for later. You have them at your fingertips whenever you need them. Check out Easy Power Chords today.
Peace~
