Hey Friend,
If you're like me, before you became aware of things like "keys" and intervals, you didn't give any thought to the mechanics behind music other than the visible stuff like playing the instruments to create sound.
You didn't know (or care) why one song had one sort of vibe while another one hit you differently.
All that mattered was whether you liked the way it sounded and how it made you feel.
And then here comes ol' Davey, ripping you out of your ignorance, bursting your bubble and giving you some edjamacation!
These minor keys give us all sorts of cool songs to help us sort out our more mellow times, so whattaya say we highlight a few that were written in the key of A minor.
" Angie" by The Rolling Stones
Listen to these and you'll find each one starts off on an A minor chord. You may also notice that, with the exception of "The Passenger," they have a melancholy feel to them. Ah, the power of the minor key!
Here's the last set of exercise files for the A minor chord - get your barre chords on!
We'll get going on the next chord in the key - B diminished (B°). I'll bet you can't wait... Rock on!
Peace~
