Nooooo!!!

I'm in shock.

I'm definitely a fan of David Bowie. It was tragic to lose him at such a young age.

And then Alan Rickman (Professor Snape)...

But now Glenn Frey? This one cuts me to the core...

What the H-E-L-L!?!?!?

Glenn was one of the most prolific songwriters of our time. A founding member of the Eagles, he co-wrote songs that are engraved on my brain.

"Lyin' Eyes"
"Tequila Sunrise"
"One of These Nights"
"New Kid In Town"
"The Long Run"

And so many more...

I started my first band playing Eagles songs. In fact, the Eagles were the second most influential band that got me started with guitar - the first was John Denver (another incredible musician gone way too soon).

Their albums have been in regular rotation for me for decades. In my car, I've played the "Hotel California" and "The Long Run" CDs hundreds of times each.

This loss is very painful for me...

Do yourself a favor today. Take a few minutes to appreciate your favorite artist. Send them a note through social media telling them how their music makes a difference in your life.

While you're at it, tell your loved ones and friends, too. Not one of us knows how long we have on this earth, and life's too short to not appreciate the people that matter in our lives.

I appreciate all you guys. You probably don't know it, but you help keeping me going

If you need a reminder of the many great songs the Eagles have given us over the years, go over here and listen in on The Best of The Eagles.

If you subscribe to Amazon Prime, you can listen to many Eagles full albums - just add them to your Prime Music and you're good to go. Otherwise, preview any of the tracks by the Eagles here.

Gonna miss you, Glenn...

Peace~
