Let’s get back to hearing what the C major scale sounds like played over the chords that naturally fit with the key (of C major).
We’re up to E minor.

The Em triad is created when you play the E, G and B notes together.
When you hear the C major scale played over Em, you’ll notice three intervals sound like they fit with the chord.
Those interval are the major third (C to E), the perfect fifth (C to G) and the major seventh (C to B). From the exercise files, those are the second, fourth and sixth systems (four bar section).
The other systems have a fair amount of conflict, particularly the C to D interval (major second) and the perfect octave (C to C).
