I'm back in Florida. We made the trek to and from Ohio successfully. The cats are happy to see us (after they got over being mad at us for leaving in the first place).
Since my wife has taken today off to recover from the travel, it's project day. We'll be finishing a closet floor today (at least that's what I think we're doing).
Good idea to take the day off - maybe not-so-good an idea to try and tackle a project...
I guess it all depends on how we're feeling. We're both wiped out after all the driving (14.5 hours straight through one way).
Turns out the combination of cold temperatures, super-dry heated air at my mother-in-laws, a couple of germ-y nieces (they always have colds) and exhaustion may have contributed to us catching a bug.
Something tells me we may end up recuperating rather than pushing through a project... at least maybe that will give me some quality time to play my guitar!
I'll be back tomorrow with my head back on straight and ready to rock. Y'all have a good day!
