Subject: My Frozen Claws

Hey Friend,

Just a quick shout today, as I am in the midst of the floor replacement project. We got started late in the afternoon yesterday, and the first order of business was to move all the furniture.

As we got the first or second piece moved, I noticed my hands were frozen in a claw-like state. This is always a little concerning for a guitar player! Ah well, give it a few minutes and the blood flows back into my fingers and everything's okay. But I know tomorrow there's going to be some sore hands and forearms!

Fortunately, playing my guitar helps to loosen up the tight muscles a bit, and running through some chords at least limbers me up.

I've got a song brewing in my head, so stay tuned for more information. I've worked out some very cool chords that create an interesting harmonic effect based on their locations on the neck. There are some inversion with open strings that I'm digging, and hopefully seeing these chords will really underscore the musical possibilities you have with your guitar.

Alright, got to get back to getting this floor laid down. Sorry for the short message today. Maybe tomorrow I'll give you a little glimpse into this new idea...

Rock it out, Saturday people!

Peace~
