Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, it’s still a good time to celebrate the good things in our lives.
It’s very easy to get distracted by the troubles of everyday life.
The boss is a jerk, the cat just barfed, traffic is a nightmare, I spilled coffee all over my white shirt…
It happens so quickly and we get caught up in the moment to moment “emergencies.”
Then we forget to stop for a second and “reset” before moving to the next thing. It’s a constant run on the hamster wheel, which eventually leads to burnout.
Today, Christmas Eve, my hope for you is a little peace, a little quiet from the “noise” of life.
Maybe some downtime to reflect on the things that are going well in your life and spend a few moments mentally living in that space.
