Wednesday! We're half way to the weekend - that which everybody's working for...

After some thought, I've decided to start with the key of D major. It seems to be a sweet spot for Rock music, so it's as good a place to start as any other.

Here's how this will all go down. I'll start with some broad information about the key so you get a layout. We'll get into the various patterns, I'll give you the scale to play with, and so on.

The idea is to get your brain and ears thinking about the key. Your ears will get used to the pitches and over time, you'll be able to pick chords out as you hear them rather than having to see tabs. 

Everyone is different, so there's no telling how long it takes for your ears and brain to memorize the chords. You just have to keep practicing it.

So we'll start with D major and see how the format goes. We can make adjustments on the fly.
