Hey Friend,

I’m sure y’all have been keeping tabs on the weather coming up this weekend...

After yesterday’s message about upping our “Life” games, I had planned on continuing down that vein. 

Unfortunately, the monster hurricane barreling across the Caribbean right now has me just a little preoccupied...

With predictions of it coming up the coast of Florida, we’ve been working to get everything locked down around the house.

Just a head’s up…

Tomorrow morning, I will be putting my family on a plane to head back to Ohio for my niece’s funeral. 

I, on the other hand, will be hanging back to ride out Hurricane Irma. Not my first choice given the circumstances, but we felt someone needed to be here to help minimize risk. 

I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get the Friday message out, but if I do, it’ll be late. 

After that, if you don’t hear from me, it’s likely because I lost power... which will suuuuuck…

But we got through Hurricane Matthew last year without losing power, so I’m hopeful my luck will hold.

Just take a listen to some REO Speedwagon and think of me “Ridin’ The Storm Out.”
