Subject: Hi Ho, Hi Ho...

Hey Friend,

It's off to work I go. Yup, first day of work at the new job. I have a bit of stage fright - to be expected, I suppose. Nothing major...

A couple days ago, I talked about the dominant 7 chord (D7, to be specific). That's a major chord, with a minor 7 note from the scale added on. The dominant 7 chord gets used a lot in Blues and Rock...

Today I have a question for you. Based on what you know about major, minor and dominant 7 chords now, can you tell me how we would make a minor 7 chord?

Minor 7 chords are also used quite a bit in Rock and Blues, so they're an important part of your chord toolbox. You already know enough from the other chords mentioned to figure this out.

Let me know how you would change a dominant 7 chord to make it a minor 7. I'll be back tomorrow with the answer for you.

Peace~
