Happy Father's Day, the celebration honoring fatherhood that nearly wasn't. It took nearly 60 years of varied efforts for the day to become permanently recognized. Turns out folks all over the world now celebrate dads. You can read more about Father's Day here if you're interested.

While we'd normally spend the day with family when living in Ohio, a phone call to Pops will have to do. Thankfully, necktie's aren't the traditional gift any more, because we don't have to wear them as much these days. I do seem to recall giving my dad ties back in the day, though.

Here's to you, Dad's! Hope you have a great day enjoying a little down time and family fun!
