Subject: G Major Progression

Hey Friend,

Had a little family outing this morning, doing something we don't normally do. We had a family picture taken for the upcoming holiday season.

Yesterday we finished up the last basic chord in the key of G major. Since F#° prompted me to think about the Supertramp song "Give a Little Bit," it inspired me to put together some tabs with the progression that reminded me of the song. With a little twist, though...

Because one of the concepts I've been trying to impress upon you is that you can play inversions of these chords all over the neck, I decided to put the progression together in five different neck locations.

You'll be happy to know that I've handed power over to you. I took each version and broke it out by itself so you can practice one until you get it, rather than being moved to the next version immediately in the MP3 file.

Take your time and try each one out. I think you'll find that some of the upper locations are easier to play than down in the open position (the first 3-5 frets on the fingerboard).

If you like this, I can come up with more progressions using chord from G major.

Peace~

Dave
