Subject: Finding Clarity

Hey Friend,

Brain waves smoothing... blood pressure normalizing... heart rate leveling out...

It was good to get away yesterday. It was a beautiful day, relaxing, just chilling with my homies in the little burgh of Saint Simon's Island. There was an art festival going on, lots of cool little touristy shops, and a pier with breezes coming off the Atlantic. We even saw a pod of dolphins playing in the ocean by the pier.

We checked out my wife's homestead when she was a kid - it hadn't changes much, but the rest of the island has grown up. Based on her memories, I didn't expect it to be a nearly self-sufficient, normal American town, complete with their own Outback and Starbucks. That's progress, I guess.

Thank you for the reprieve. I needed it, and I'm thinking more clearly on things.

By putting a little distance on the demands of everything at home, my mind has been able to process a lot of the internal conflicts I've been juggling. Mental down time is good for all of us. Helps us appreciate what we have, where we are, see possibilities where we only saw walls and chains.

I've been able to do some searching for a platform that will benefit us all. One where I can continue to provide the training and lessons (and minor rants, from time to time) and create a sustaining income that will allow me to earn enough to pay for the expenses of Learn To Play Rock Guitar and The Chord Clinic. It'll also allow me to give even more value, rewarding you for your continued support.

I'm still researching, looking for the fairest way to do this...

And I'll still continue to offer free content, but for those that decide to chip in and help with the expenses, there'll be exclusive ebooks, online get-togethers and other goodies in store.

More to follow...

Before I go for today, I just want to remember the significance of today, September 11. It was fifteen years ago today we had the most horrific terrorist attacks on US soil in history. I will never forget where I was or what I was doing when the news broke.

Watching the Twin Towers in New York City collapse will always be etched in my mind, along with sorrow for all the lives lost that day. It's still hard to believe - like something out of a movie. Even today, I get tears in my eyes thinking about the loss and tragedy of that day and the days to follow.

If you or any in your circle are military, law enforcement, medical or emergency personnel, or a veteran of any sort, Thank you. Thank you for your service and sacrifice to help those in need and preserve the freedoms we enjoy (and take for granted) here.

Remember 9/11.

Peace~
