Subject: Crying In The Corner

Hey Friend,

It will be another day of hard labor around the house today. I can’t help but think of the song “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” by George Harrison and The Beatles. I love this tribute to George during the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony, featuring his son Dhani.

You also have Jeff Lynne (Electric Light Orchestra) and Tom Petty on vocals, and Prince with one of the most bad-ass guitar solos ever.

Mine is weeping because I haven’t been able to reply play it, what with all the home repairs and deadlines.

We have family coming to visit in early May, so it’s a frenzy to get as much done as possible before they show up. Maybe after that, I’ll be able to get back to the business of writing and recording.

I think that because I’ve got this new Mac and software to play around with, I’m going to try to create some instructional videos to help with the lessons. I’ll have to work on my "radio voice” and appearance so I don’t scare y’all! Ha!

Well, the work ain’t gonna do itself, so I’m off to get started. Have a great day!

Peace~

Dave
