Hey Friend,
I must confess, the time got away from me, so the guitar lesson is missing today.
My daughter went for her orientation at college yesterday and today. Between helping her find her way home and then hearing all about her day, it was late last night before I got a chance to sit down at my computer (let alone pick up my guitar!).
She's excited about starting this stage of her life, and we're very happy to see her actually wanting to get involved in things at school. Having dealt with a lot of bullying in high school, it's hard to know how your child will do in a new environment, especially when they're taking a step on their own. We're proud she did very well - even made some new friends!
Rather than try throwing something together, I thought I'd push it off to you...
Over the past few weeks, I've focused a bunch on more of the theory leading up to chords. We've talked about keys and scales, intervals and numbering. - How well are you understanding what I've been teaching?
- Is there anything I can explain better?
- Do you have more questions than answers?
- What's the square root of 2112?
Okay, just kidding on that last one. Of course, if you're a Rush fan, you'll recognize the number as the title from their 1976 album "2112". Anyway, just checking into see if this is all making sense so far or if I need to backtrack and clear anything up. Let me know...
Peace~
