Subject: B Major Intro

Hey Friend,

I found out I have to go into work early today, so it put a real cramp on writing time this morning. I'm in rush mode, so apologies...

B Major

The next chord we're going to look at in the key of E major is B major, another one that strikes fear and loathing in the hearts of newbies the world around!

While I didn't have time to work out the exercise files for it, I'll have them to you by the weekend. Looks like it's already shaping up to be a busy one at that.

My wife is in full renovation mode, now that we have a date set to put in a new shower in our bathroom. Which means we're gutting the whole thing, and you know what that means...

Davey will be getting dirty! I guess one of the good things about this is I'll soon have the weekends back.

B major is the V chord in the key of E, so that makes it the second most resolved chord in the key from a sonic perspective.

Since I don't have time right now to go into its construction, I'll ask you this:

If the notes for an A major chord are A, C# E, what should the notes be for B major?

Remember, the major scale pattern gives you what you the pattern you need to figure it out. Here it is again:

W W H W W W H

I'll spell it all out tomorrow.

Peace~

Dave
