Hey Friend,
I've got eleven A major positions to share with you today. I've also got the exercise files for yesterday's introductory message. I did want to remind you that like other chords, A major shows up in six keys - three major and three minor:
Key I IIm IIIm IV V VIm VII° D D E F#m G A B C#°
E E F#m Gm A B C#m D#° A A Bm C#m D E F#m G#°
And the minor keys:
Key Im II° III IVm Vm VI VII Bm Bm C#° D Em F#m G A F#m F#m G#° A Bm C#m D E C#m C#m D#° E F#m G#m A B
That's just an FYI, something to tuck in the back of your mind.
Of the eleven positions, five are root inversions with note order 1 3 5. Three are first inversions (note order 3 5 1) and three are second inversions (yup, you guessed it, note order 5 1 3).
Go through the various positions and see which ones resonate with you. Gotta run... See ya!
Peace~
