Subject: A Major Barre Chords Review

HeyFriend,

Today we're reviewing the A major barre chords.

The root 5 version is very simple - just play the open A major chord. You can either barre the fourth, third and second strings at the second fret with your index finger, or you can play the open A as I showed you a couple days ago.

Remember, the A shape is one of the CAGED chords - movable chords we use regularly to play any major chord up the neck.

We play the root 6 barre at the fifth fret. Barre all six strings with your index finger. The use the open E shape on the fifth, fourth and third strings  (another CAGED chord).

Your middle finger goes on the sixth fret, third string. Ring finger is on the fifth string, seventh fret, and the pinky is also at the seventh fret on the fourth string.

There's not much more to say, so download, open and practice these exercises:

May your Monday be as quick and pleasant as possible.

Peace~
