Subject: The truth about vaping

"If you think about the vaping epidemic, what I would say is don't take health advice from a company that is selling you an addictive compound."

~ Paul Brunetta on KPFA's About Health

Hi Friend,

Vaping is all over the news these days. As David Feldman (host of About Health) said, "Smoking is still the leading cause of cancer related deaths in America. But these days lighting up a cigarette isn't the only way people get nicotine. The relatively new phenomenon known as vaping or e-cigarettes poses new challenges to people's health and new difficulties for quitting."

So, is vaping a viable way to quit smoking cigarettes, or is it just another way to get addiction or get sick?

Learning to Quit co-author Paul Brunetta specifically addressed this question on a recent radio interview. Click here to listen to the interview or read the text transcript.
