In this uncertain time, the GLK family wants to reassure you that our attorneys, paralegals and support personnel continue to work on your legal matters with the same diligence that you have always come to expect.
To that end, please know that our attorneys remain available to answer your concerns and we maintain a rotating support staff in our New York City, New Jersey and East Hampton offices to answer any of your concerns regarding the status of your legal matters.
You may be aware that the New York and New Jersey State Court administrations have postponed all trials, scheduling and settlement conferences in keeping with governmental directives to reduce crowd gatherings and maintain social distancing.
Please know that, with the courts essentially “in recess” for an undetermined period of time, GLK nevertheless continues to work on your matters to ensure that they will be “trial and settlement ready” when court proceedings do resume.
Most importantly, please stay safe, maintain social distancing during this difficult time, follow safety guidelines and look out for your family and neighbors, particularly the elderly and most vulnerable.
One last thought-most of us at GLK have been through 9/11 and its aftermath. Our main office was then, and still is, adjacent to the World Trade Center. We were then forced to relocate our office to midtown Manhattan for a substantial time period yet, like most everyone else, we persevered during that crisis and were proud that we were able to continue our high level of service to our clients. In the current climate, we will do the same.
