| Jeff Korek, senior trial partner at Gersowitz Libo & Korek P.C., is a co-chair of the 2018 seminar edition of “25 Trial Issues That Keep You Up In the Middle of the Night.” The seminar is organized by the New York State Trial Lawyers Institute for the third consecutive year. It will be a two-night event, held on June 5th and June 12th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the NYSTLA headquarters, at 132 Nassau Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10038.
After last year’s success, “25 Trial Issues” is back this year with new questions and topics and an informal panel discussion that encourages audience participation for attorneys trying cases faced with the many challenges capable of keeping them up through the night.
About the “25 Trial Issues” Seminar
The two-night seminar includes lectures by the Honorable George Silver and an elite panel of trial attorneys, including Elizabeth Cornacchio, David Dean, Judith Livingston, Richard Maltz, Daniel O’Toole, Deborah Scalise and Evan Torgan. The panel will discuss various issues that lawyers face during trial that require fast and strategic thinking. |

Gardiner Foundation & GLK Present The Third Annual Gardiner Memorial Basketball Clinic
|

The Gardiner Foundation is hosting it’s third annual Gardiner Memorial Basketball Clinic on Saturday, June 23rd, 2018 at St. James Park in the Bronx (193rd Street and Jerome). Registration will begin at 10 am. The clinic will be held from noon – 4 pm.
More than 200 boys and girls are expected at this clinic. It is free to the public and open to kids ages 7 – 15. The first 150 kids to sign up the morning of will receive a free tee shirt.
With the help of volunteers and coaches, including former NBA and Division I level players, the clinic focuses on teaching the community youth high-level basketball skills to improve their game. More importantly, the clinic provides a safe haven for kids to enjoy an afternoon outside.
