| June 2020 Astrological Forecast
The year 2020 is the year of the great reveal. We’re six months in and already it seems the world has gone mad. I’m afraid the worst has yet to come, but hang in there because as I’ve been saying for years, we need to tear down the old structures before we can rebuild. We are renovating the entire planet and it’s not going to be pretty but if we stay strong in our hearts, true to ourselves and remain open and loving despite the chaos, we will be guided to the best path for us. Now let’s see what the stars look like for the month of June 2020.
We start the month off with an explosive energy with the Full Moon at 15 degrees Sagittarius on June 5. This is a Lunar Eclipse, which packs a heavier punch than usual full moons. The Sun in Gemini wants more information, it wants to share it and discuss it but it can get lost in the details, lost in what’s not really important and kind of forget the whole point. Sagittarius Moon wants the big picture, it wants to understand the meaning behind things and it wants the freedom to express what it believes is the absolute truth, no matter how ugly. On a mundane level, we might see this playing out as a clashing of stories as our information is dispersed through a very volatile energy. Gemini and Sagittarius are both masculine mutable signs, they bring active energy that is changeable and unpredictable. We have the likelihood of more he said/she said type of experiences, we also have the likelihood of truth versus falsehood becoming a major issue on a world level, especially as more and more information is released. And let’s not forget this is an election year, so this could spark some major questions about what is true and what is false in our media (Gemini) and how that ties into our understanding of the world (Sagittarius). It’s time for another Mercury Retrograde, this time through the sign of Cancer. Mercury will enter its “Storm” (moving less than 40 minutes of arc per day) on June 9th as it slows down before going retrograde on June 17th. The Storm acts like a sort of precursor to the retrograde, often giving us clues as to what areas of our lives will be highlighted during the retrograde. Pay attention to what is going on in your life from the 9th through the 17th when Mercury goes retrograde at 14 degrees Cancer and you just might get a hint at what to expect during the actual retrograde.
Through Cancer, we are looking at issues of personal security, of the home and domestic life and issues having to do with family, most particularly, motherhood. Those with personal planets in the first 15 degrees of the water signs: Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces will most likely be affected as well as those with a strong Mercury influence in their charts (Gemini and Virgo placements). Because this is happening in the sign of Cancer, we can also expect to see more emotional responses rather than intellectual ones, so be prepared for some irrationality! And this is happening between two eclipses, so anything that comes up for you right now can act as a trigger for major change in your life as well as in the world.
Mercury will go direct once more on July 12th at 5 degrees Cancer. It is typically about a 10 day period after the retrograde that is called the “Shadow” where we reflect back on the lessons learned from the retrograde. This is a great time for journaling or doing any sort of psychotherapy work. Knowing about the Storm and the Shadow are not really necessary but it can be useful when working on self-development and personally, I feel that is what we all need to be doing. Afterall, if you want to change the world, you have to start by changing yourself.
On June 20th we have a New Moon at 0 degrees Cancer and this is a Solar Eclipse happening at the Summer Solstice!! Wow, this is some powerful astrological energy! If you’ve been wanting movement, get ready. This has some major cataclysmic energy behind it! We’re talking big choices, big decisions, big moves - major life choices. The Summer Solstice ushers in a time of fire, excitement, passion, will power and drive. This is a time to seek and take action that is in alignment with your core beliefs, so if you find yourself standing at a crossroads during this time, go within and reconnect to what you are really all about. Intend to find the answers that are right for you and you will find them.
We have yet another planetary retrograde happening on June 22nd, this time it’s a Neptune retrograde. This retrograde will last until November 29, 2020 and will travel between 20 and 18 degrees Pisces. This is a time for deep reflection, dissolving of illusions, psychic insights, compassionate understanding and for spiritual connection. The higher octaves of Pisces will be called upon now by the masses of people in need of a spiritual healing after all of the chaos that the Pluto/Saturn/Jupiter in Capricorn energy stirs up this year. The year 2020 is the year of the Great Reveal and the Neptune retrograde is most likely going to play a role in that. More than likely we will see the veil thinning if not entirely pulled back on more of what is really happening in the world as the retrograde of the planet of illusions may reveal some unpleasant truths. And let’s not forget that Neptune rules Hollywood, so things could get really interesting for our celebrities over the next six months.
On June 24th, Venus, the planet of desire, love and finances goes direct once more. For many this retrograde has been felt in the pocketbook during this pandemic, while others definitely saw some relationships needing some overhauls as many of us are forced to deal with those closest to us on a new level. Hopefully by the time this planet goes direct once more, we will have come to new realizations about both our finances and our closest relationships and made the changes necessary to continue to live a life that is more in alignment with our authentic, ever changing Self. Sometimes this means letting go of old habits, possessions and even people in order to be true to ourselves once more. If this is you, do not despair for change is inevitable and it is rarely pleasant when we are dealing with people but it is necessary in our growth. One day you just might be able to look back on all this and find gratitude for the pain and for the people who played a part in your spiritual journey for without the darkness, how can we appreciate the light?
On June 27th, Mars, the planet of action, of will, and of war enters its own sign of Aries and the energy shifts to be much more forceful and determined. After its stint in the passive sign of Pisces over the past few weeks, Mars will experience a greater freedom in the expression of Aries, giving us more drive and ambition to conquer new things. But look out as sometimes this energy lacks some serious foresight and can create quite the ruckus when we follow our egotistical desires and neglect the impact our actions have on others. On a world level, we could possibly see an increase in violent acts, more police activity and/or possibly military intervention as Mars rules both violence and the armed forces.
In numerology, June 2020 is a number 1 universal month. This brings more change as we enter a new numerological cycle! Number 1 months are a good time for new beginnings, for starting new projects and for taking charge in your life. On a world level, we might see some new action being taken especially in regards to individuals’ rights and property, as the 1 is about the individual and about the self. Maybe we will see some new programs started too, let us hope they will be for more humanitarian needs.
We are going through some very trying times. Even though change is needed and is in fact inevitable in this world, let us all put our focus on non-violent means as peace is the only answer that will lead us toward the kind of world we wish to live in. The more of us who focus collectively on peace, the more likely we are to create that reality for all of us. So don’t think you can’t make a difference, because you can. Keep the vibration of peace and love active in your heart and send it out to the world, it will make a difference. This is something you can do any time, any place and I encourage you to do it often as not only does it contribute to a more loving world, but it brings peace to your heart right here, right now which is the most important thing in this life! How you feel right here, right now determines the future you will live tomorrow. All of your power is Here and Now. So focus yourself on the feeling you wish to spread to the world and let your love change the world, right here, right now.

| | Asking The Tarot
This month, I felt the impulse to pull a few cards to see what messages wanted to come through regarding the planetary energy. I used the Psychic Tarot oracle deck by John Holland. Here is what came through:
In the Past/Situation Position: Firm Foundation - We are being forced to take a long hard look at the foundations we have put in place for the world and for humanity. This includes our governments and our social structures such as healthcare, education, finance and religion. What worked in the past will no longer work.
In the Present/Challenge Position:
Obstacles & Challenges - These foundations are being challenged now as we are faced with many obstacles standing in the way of having the sort of world we wish to live in. We presently are in the midst of some major tearing down of structures, but we must not forget that we are not alone in this. We must remember that there are non-physical energies here to assist us as we are being guided by a higher energy on our path to Ascension as a planet.
In the Future/Solution Position:
Emotional Loss - The solution comes from a willingness to let go of the old, to become aware of those things that have been obstacles on our path to a better world and to heal from the pain that they caused. There is emotional loss in the immediate future as more is revealed but it will ultimately lead to change in a positive direction. We must let go of what is no longer working before we can implement the new and this isn’t a pleasant process as many of us are resistant to change. We resist the change simply because it is unknown, but we would do well to remember that pleasant things can also be unknown so we must not let that stop us from going in new directions. It is a matter of learning to trust the process, to trust life and that lesson isn’t a simple one but if we come together in harmony with a true desire for change, then we will begin to build that trust and we will create a New Earth where we are united through the desire for peace. As painful as it is to come to these truths, it is through this catalyst of emotional loss that we will unite through love and heal this world.
In the Advice/Hope Position:
Spiritual Strength - We must remember that all of the answers that we seek are found within us and we must remember to connect through the heart in order to pull forth the strength that is needed to carry us through these challenging times. Again the message, we are not alone. We are guided by a greater consciousness, one who is aware of our every need and desire. When we are in alignment with that part of ourselves, we are strong and we are lifted up to greater heights. The pathway to that inner self is through the heart, always through love. It is this union that gives us our strength and allows us to carry through this life with hope and gladness in our hearts. So take time to go within every single day and connect to that wiser, older part of you so that you may live the way you intended to when you first arrived on planet Earth.

For many this is a time of financial stress and heartache, but it's never been a more crucial time for people to be in touch with their personal power and spiritual connection! The spiritual well-being of my clients is a high priority for me therefore during this COVID-19 situation, I have decided to implement a Pay What You Want system for my psychic readings, life coaching sessions and psychic mentoring.
