I thought I’d just take a minute to give a sneak peak of some of the things you will learn in this course, such as quick and effective candle magick! So without any further ado, here is one of my favorite candle spells - Money 88!

Need a little fast cash? This is a quick and easy spell that anyone can do to attract small amounts of money (under $88 dollars) to them often with immediate and fun results! This spell combines the magick of the color green and the power of the number 8 (the number of money) to help draw quick cash to you. Be open to receiving it in unexpected ways! Please practice responsible fire safety and never leave burning candles unattended.

You will need:

• 
  -1 green spell or birthday cake candle and something to light it with

• -1 coin big enough to fit beneath the candle

• -Something to keep the time (cell phone, hourglass, kitchen timer, etc)

• -Some time to let the candle burn all the way

• -Optional: a crystal that resonates with your money intention such as citrine, pyrite, or green aventurine

Ideal Day: Thursday

Instructions

In your sacred space or in a place where you feel comfortable and will not be disturbed, sit facing east to symbolize the rising up of energy, like the sun rises in the east. Relax and meditate for a few minutes. Put on some soothing music if you like. Let go of all tension, worry and stress. 

Be sure to place all of your items before you before you get started. Envision yourself in the center of a bubble, this bubble protects you from any negative energy, including negative thoughts. Hold that imagery in your mind as you perform the rest of the spell. You may ask your guides to be with you if you like.

Once you are relaxed, use your fingernail to carve the dollar sign symbol (or your country’s currency symbol) followed by the number of dollars you want to attract upon your candle (remember to keep it under $88). If you don’t have a specific amount you want to attract, just carve in $88.

Place the candle upon the coin, so that the candle will burn down to it. 

Set a timer for at least 88 seconds (or longer if you want). 

Now you are going to visualize money while the timer counts down. Just envision dollar bills showering down upon you as you laugh and snatch the falling dollars out of the air. Be playful with it and pretend you’re a child who’s having a good time catching the dollars. Make it as real in your imagination as possible, employing your senses to make it as real to you as possible. Connect with the emotion of fun and appreciation for the dollars falling down upon you.

When the timer goes off, say the following chant three times (or write your own) over the candle:

Light the candle, find gratitude in your heart and say the following once (or write your own):

You may release the imagery of the bubble, or see it dissolving in your mind’s eye. Let the candle burn down completely to the coin, do not leave it unattended.

Once the candle is gone, carry the coin with you in your wallet or pocket until you receive the cash you have asked for. 

If nothing should come to you after 3 days, you may repeat this, but be aware that you may have to unravel some limiting beliefs around money before you will see it come. Keep practicing the visualization and the feeling of gratitude and you will find your path to unravel your beliefs.
