Monthly Forecast for March 2022
There’s a whole lot of tension in the air right now and a lot of confusion too. This month looks to be no different but thankfully we have some positive influences from Jupiter showing up too so we’re just gonna have to do our best to ride the waves of confusion with a little bit of faith.
We have a Pisces New Moon on March 2nd and this can bring a mixture of energies. This can have some of us feeling emotionally vulnerable, but it’s important not to play the victim with this as it will not help your cause. Pisces is a very spiritual and sensitive energy, which can facilitate connection and compassion for our planet. However it can also be a very confusing energy as it can sometimes have clouded vision and finding clarity can be as elusive as trying to catch a fish with your hands. Illusions and deceptions are also a possibility with this influence and some of us may find ourselves waking up to some ugly truths as the month progresses. The best use of this New Moon is to set your sights on things of a more spiritual nature and ways that you can help the planet at this time. On March 5th, both Mars and Venus enter the sign of Aquarius and this shifts the energies to be more objective and concerned with finding solutions that will help the people at larte. This can be beneficial and harmonizing (Venus) and it can be inspiring and invigorating (Mars) but it can also influence the flow of our economy (Venus) and the advancement of military units (Mars). It is important to reach for the higher qualities of Aquarius here and look at what brings in innovative solutions that will benefit the planet. Venus remains in Aquarius until April 6th and Mars will exit Aquarius on April 16th.
On March 9th, Mercury enters Pisces. Mercury is the planet of communication and when it is in Pisces, it struggles finding the right words and can sometimes communicate in more subtle, telepathic ways that not everyone can detect. This can lead to confusion in our thinking as well as in our communication with others. However the positive influence is that we are often more open to going with the flow when Mercury is in Pisces as this sign encourages not hanging on to things when it’s time to move on. Speak from the heart and you will make good use of this. Mercury will be here until March 27th.
On March 18th, we have the Full Moon at 27 degrees of Virgo and this can sometimes create a great need for order in our lives. Virgo has a way of noticing the things that need improvement which isn’t such a bad thing, but if it is pointed out with any degree of criticism then sensitive people might have a harder time during this Moon. Virgo is all about getting things organized and sorted out, you can use this time to clean out an old closet or to organize your to do list. On March 20th, the Sun enters Aries and we have an astrological new year as the Spring Equinox denotes another turning of the wheel. The Aries energy is enthusiastic and full of life! It encourages us to be daring, to be bold and to take chances. However it doesn’t always think long term and sometimes forgets to check in with others before it makes impulsive decisions. During this time, it is best to use this energy to help you take chances and try new things. So look to see which house Aries rules in your chart to see where your focus will be for the weeks ahead. On March 27th, Mercury moves into the sign of Aries and the energy shifts again. With Mercury here, our communication and our thought processes are subject to our impulses and our gut instincts. Sometimes this means we come across rather forcibly and forget to check in with others. However this is a good time for starting some new projects or anything that requires your mental focus. Mercury will leave Aries on April 12th.
We end the month on the 31st with a New Moon in Aries at 11 degrees and this can be a very powerful time for setting new intentions for yourself! Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, encouraging fresh starts so this energy is excellent for achieving some personal goals especially if they are short term as Aries energy is not long lasting. Rather it favors quick affairs and projects that can be accomplished quickly or handed off to someone else to finish. Please note that we will NOT have a New Moon Meditation for March 31st, but don't worry, we'll see you again in April.
In numerology, the month of March is a number 9 universal month, the number of endings, brotherhood (and sisterhood of course), humanitarianism, completion and rewards. We might see some things coming to an end this month and we might see the people coming together and supporting one another. These are tough times we find ourselves living in and it is important to remember that we are not meant to live such separated lives. We humans are social creatures and we need one another, especially in the face of tyranny. Now is a time for us to look past our differences and find compassion for our brothers and sisters. Now is the time to unite through the amazing healing power of Love for there is no other force stronger than Love in all of the universe and if we truly want to heal as a planet, we can only do so through the vehicle of Love.
So I encourage you to Love right now, even when it’s difficult - no, especially when it’s difficult. I encourage you to look past the hurts, the mean words, the harsh feelings you might have for another or humanity at large and instead reach into your heart to find your truest desire. You will find that it is inner peace that your heart desires, which can only be achieved through Love. Understand that many are lost and confused and hurting deeply right now and as times progresses this year, many will struggle with their mental health as more and more truths are finally exposed. Do your best to stay on top of your self-care and to show compassion for those who might be hurting right now, including yourself.
