Ulrika Flink is artistic director 2023Ulrika Flink's artistic program is extended by up to one year. Due to the effects of the pandemic, the board has decided to extend Ulrika's position, so that she can fully implement her artistic vision.
Ulrika Flink took over as artistic director in January 2020. Her exhibition program, which examines language and voice in relation to collectivity, aims to create space for different movements to ally with each other. With Hökarängen as a starting point, Konsthall C would become a place for different perspectives to meet in dialogue about what a just society should look like. The first three years have been characterized by global and local perspectives in dialogue.
-Ulrika's program has expanded both outwards, into Hökarängen's collective space, and at the same time into the innermost mechanisms of the gallery. The exhibitions, which alternates prominent international artists with curatorial experiments, have been followed by a questioning of Konsthall C's structure, history and identity. Her work here has established us as one of Sweden's most interesting spaces for contemporary art.

At the same time, preparations begin to recruit a new artistic director for the period 2024–2026. The board is looking forward to the last year with Ulrika:
-We are very happy that Ulrika Flink accepted our offer. We see that the innovative and qualitative program Flink has started is now given good conditions to establish itself further and for Konsthall C to continue to be a strong voice in contemporary art. |
