Embodied Chaos - Ten Years with Hysterix

You are warmly welcome to take part in an exciting program from 27/12 to 15/1 of performance, openings, karaoke, anti-racist comics and much more! For everyone who wants an exciting end to the year and a good start to the new year, come to the exhibition Embodied Chaos - Ten Years with Hysterix.

The feminist collective Hysterix conducts an artistic intervention consisting of conversations and shared care practices, where stories and active listening are the main methods of knowledge production.

Hysterix was formed in Lima in 2012 by female artists of Peruvian background with the intention of occupying spaces historically denied to women and non-normative bodies through criminalization and gender-based violence.

After ten years of work, the group gathers to create both time and space to materialize and embody the last decade and through their own works to explore the common archive. It is the first time the members have had the opportunity to spend a month together to think, reflect and take care of each other in the context of a process-based exhibition at Konsthall C.

The individual within the collective - vernissage in Centrifug
