(DDR3-RC Pre-Machined Handles)

The DDR3 folding knife kit is one of the most popular DIY knife projects of all time. The reason is simple. Spending a fun afternoon in your shop, and using nothing more than basic tools, you can make one of the best folding knives you'll ever own. Not only is the DDR3 precise and well made, but it is the "right size" for everyday utility use. This knife kit cuts like a dream and can be embellished to an extremely high level, one that rivals knives that cost more than 10x it's price. The DDR3 model is a legend with a well earned reputation.

To make this knife kit an even better project, we have just introduced a new line of pre-machined handles. Each handle set is precision milled and offers precise fit-up to the curved front bolsters. They are non-drilled to allow for perfect alignment. These handles also feature slight material overage in their design. This allows each scale to extend above the bolster height and to exceed the liner perimeter. By doing this, we've insured enough excess material for proper final sanding and finish. This will also maximize the canvas options for handle shaping.

The new DDR3 pre-machined handles are available in multiple exotic materials. They can be purchased both "stand-alone" and packaged with the full kit parts set. This makes it easy to order only what you need for your project.
