CKK Exclusive - Designer Sensei Wooden Knife Kit with Brass Pins
We are now offering a twist on the classic stainless steel Sensei fixed blade knife kit design. The "Wood Sensei" is identical to the stainless model, except that it is constructed from high quality figured Oak and Walnut components. When finished, the Wood Sensei is a beautiful facsimile of its much more dangerous sibling. Because this model is constructed from wood, it makes a great starting point for file-work training, grind training and other embellishment practice. It is also quite a conversation piece, as it is nearly identical in every way to the original design.
The Wood Sensei makes a great project for all levels of knife enthusiasts, including younger builders, woodworking hobbyists, collectors and others. All parts, including blade, handles, bolsters, brass bolster and handle pins are included with this kit. All that is needed to complete this project is epoxy, sandpaper, a hacksaw (for pin trimming) and a hammer (for peening pins). This kit is as easy as it gets!
