Welcome to Kid Chess club at Landmark Christian School! We are excited about seeing all of our chess students September 10th.

Thank you for your patience as we have been working together to solidify the details around getting students to and from club. We wanted to be sure to communicate accurate information and avoid any need for changes in our procedure.
I can now confirm that your student should go directly to After School Care (ASC) for check-in at 3:00. After a snack, one of our assistants will gather all students from ASC prior to start of class at either 3:40 or 4:45 and escort them to club. Please note that our meeting time has been delayed a few minutes to accommodate carpool traffic for our instructors. Our meeting location has also changed from Room 100 to Room 701 in the 5th grade hallway. Please communicate with your student’s classroom teacher to send your student to ASC immediately upon dismissal where we will then escort them to club at the appropriate time.
The normal hourly/as needed rate for after school care is $10 for the first ½ hour and $5 for every half hour following. Your student will be provided a snack and loving care before club begins at 3:40 p.m. Due to the last minute change of time, I will only be charging the first half hour for this service for our chess club students.
After club, your student should be picked up at the 5th grade gate promptly at either 4:40 p.m. or 5:45 p.m. depending on your registration choice of one or two hours.
One of our ASC Assistants will be outside waiting for you. Please display your student’s car tag or be prepared to show ID for pick-up. Students remaining more than 10 minutes after club ends will be checked back into ASC and hourly charges will resume.
