The Chess Zone 2023 Scholastic Championship

 Calling all young chess maestros! Join us for the 2023 Scholastic Chess Tournament and let your talent shine on the board. This rated tournament is exclusively for Kids! Students will test their chess skills against the best and brightest young minds in the game in this USCF rated tournament. 


SECTIONS and PRIZES:
U600: Open to scholastic players under 600 and unrated. Trophies to 1st-5th place and all with a plus score. Medals to all that don’t win a trophy.
U1300: Open to scholastic players between 600 and 1299. Trophies to 1st-5th place and all with a plus score. Medals to all that don’t win a trophy.

Four Rounds, Swiss System, USCF rated (USCF Membership required)

Rounds:  10:00 am, 11:15 am, 12:30 pm, 1:45 pm


Time Control: G/25; inc. 5; USCF dual rated (regular and quick).

Open all scholastic players (K-12) from unrated to 1299.
