We are so excited to have you join us as a Parent Helper! Your support means the world to us, and we couldn't provide the best experience for our kids without your help. Here’s a quick overview of what you’ll be doing: Arrival and Dismissal: We ask that you arrive by the start of class time (or even better, five minutes before) and stay until all the children are safely dismissed to their proper locations. Helping with Attendance: You’ll assist us in taking attendance and helping to locate or confirm any absent students. Locating Absent and Missing Children Tracking Game Results: During the class, you’ll help by receiving and tracking the kids' game results and points. Light Data Entry: We’ll need your help entering these points into our computer program. Don’t worry, it’s simple—we’ve attached instructions to this email, and the coach will provide the password. How To Enter Points and Game Results Supporting the Kids: Whether it's a bathroom break, dealing with minor illnesses, or helping with any other non-chess-related situations, you’ll be there to assist so our coaches can focus on teaching. Supervising the Bullpen: This is our fun activities area where kids wait to be put into another activity. Sometimes, we might need an extra pair of eyes to help supervise this space. Ensuring Safe Dismissal: You’ll help make sure every child gets to the right place at the end of the day, whether that’s after-school care or their car in the carpool line.
Your role is truly crucial to making sure everything runs smoothly and safely. And to show our appreciation, we’re happy to offer free tuition for your child during this time!
We’ve linked a few documents in this email to help you get started, including tips for taking attendance and instructions for entering points into our system.
Thank you again for all your support and for being such a valuable part of our team. We can’t wait to see you in action! |
