No kids allowed! The ATL 14 Tournament welcomes players of high school age and above to come play. Play against players your age and maybe even win a prize!

Start your engines! Speed Chess tournaments are this Sunday at Chess Zone. Come for our rapid tournament in the morning, and stay for our blitz tournament in the afternoon.

ATL 14 Details

3 Rounds, Swiss System, USCF rated

One OPEN section.

PLACE PRIZES: 1st place $250, 2nd place $100
CLASS PRIZES: A (1999-1800) $50 B (1799-1600) $50, C (1599-1400) $50, D (1399-1200) $50, E (1199-1000) $50, below 1000: $50

Time Control: G/60; inc. 5; USCF dual rated (regular and quick rated).

Entry Fee: $40.00 if pre-registered; $45.00 at the site.

Schedule: On-site registration ends at 9:40 am. All players, including pre-registrants, please check in by 9:45 am.

Rounds: 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:30 pm

Place Prizes: 1st Place – $160; 2nd Place – $80; 3rd Place – $40;

Time Control: G/10; inc. 5; USCF quick rated.

Entry Fee: $25.00 if pre-registered; $30.00 at the site.

Schedule: Pre-registration closes at 9:00 am. On-site registration ends at 9:45 am.

(10 total games; play each opponent twice as white and black)

Time Control: G/5; inc. 2; USCF blitz rated.

Entry Fee: $25.00 if pre-registered; $30.00 at the site; .

Schedule: Pre-registration closes at 2:00 pm. All players, including pre-registrants, must check in by 2:45 pm.

Rounds: Round 1 starts at 3:00 PM; rounds 2-5 immediately after. Last round should start at approximately 5:30 PM.
