Attention all sloths and tortoises! Join us this weekend at Chess Zone for Slow Play Saturday for some sloooooowwww chess. Take your time, sip some tea, and ponder over positions! Come prepared to think about your moves in three rounds of G/75+30.

We also host the Rated Game of the week on Tuesday nights with a time control of 1 hour with a 5-second increment (G60+5). The first 50 that sign up will be able to play. Game starts at 7:30 PM USCF Membership is required. Please arrive at 7:00 PM if you need assistance. To play Please register in advance before 7 PM. This is the only method to guarantee your spot. CHAMPIONSHIP (1600+): Open to USCF rated 1600 and above. 1st — $400 2nd — $200 Top Under 1800 — $75
RESERVE (U1600): Open to USCF rated between 1000 and 1599. 1st — $200 2nd — $100 Top Under 1300 — $50
BOOSTER (U1000): Open to USCF rated under 1000 and unrated. 1st — $100 2nd — $60 Top Under 700 — $50
