Attention all classical chess fans! Join us this weekend at Chess Zone for Slow Play Saturday for some sloooooowwww chess. Take your time, sip some coffee, and ponder over positions! Come prepared to think about your moves in three rounds of G/75+30.

Slow Play Saturday Details

Three rounds, Swiss System, USCF rated. $1285 in prizes, 50% guaranteed

Three sections:
CHAMPIONSHIP (1600+): Open to USCF rated 1600 and above. 1st — $400 2nd — $200 Top Under 1800 — $75
RESERVE (U1600): Open to USCF rated between 1000 and 1599. 1st — $200 2nd — $100 Top Under 1300 — $50
BOOSTER (U1000): Open to USCF rated under 1000 and unrated. 1st — $100 2nd — $60 Top Under 700 — $50
One ‘special’ Top Senior Prize:” $50.
